Getting involved with LES
First: Join us on 91´«Ã½ Connect
We strongly recommend that join our community on to learn about upcoming Section activities. Members can post to share ideas and to ask questions so it offers a terrific opportunity to learn from one another.
Second: Read Biblio-Notes
As a member you should automatically receive copies of Biblio-Notes, the Section newsletter. The newsletter is published twice each year and back issues are on the Web. Contact the editors if you have articles or information to publish. to be sure your mailing address is up to date.
Third: Come to 91´«Ã½ Conferences
If you are able to come to the 91´«Ã½ conferences, LES hosts a number of meetings, programs and discussion groups that everyone is encouraged to attend. With the exception of the Nominations Committee, all Committee meetings, including those of the Executive Committee, are open to anyone who would like to stop by.
While the meeting schedule can change, our schedule tends to follow this pattern. More detailed information about the LES schedule of events at the conferences is shared in 91´«Ã½ Connect and posted prominently on the front page of the Section Web site as the conferences approach.
Fourth: Volunteer for Committee Service
Members are encouraged to consider serving on a committee. If you have any questions about the work of any committee, contact the current of that committee. If you would like to volunteer, please fill out the .
Fifth: Join the Mentoring Service
Seeking advice about literature librarianship or professional development? Interested in sharing your expertise? Use the mentoring form to express your interests and describe your needs and skills. The Membership Committee will match mentors and mentees accordingly.

This site was established 24 March 1996 at the University of Connecticut and moved to its current location at 91´«Ã½ on November 30, 2000.
