ACRL Officers Virtual Speakers Bureau

91´«Ã½

The ACRL Chapter Speaker program gives chapter's the opportunity to invite members of the ACRL Board and the Executive Director to participate in chapter activities. The purpose of these virtual visits are to speak about the activities and initiatives of ACRL and to learn of members’ interests at the chapter level. Each year, several chapters have benefited from the ACRL Chapters Speakers Bureau program.

The program features a slate of speakers eager to share ideas. Below is an informational listing of the ACRL President, Vice-President/President-Elect and Executive Director.

The chapter may indicate a preference for a particular officer from among the three, but if that person is not available (or is already over committed) another officer may represent the Association.

To request a virtual speaker, the chapter should submit the ‘Request for an ACRL Officer’ form below. Submit requests for a fall/spring conference as soon as possible. Chapters are awarded funding on a first come, first serve basis. To best accommodate requests, chapters should submit requests for an ACRL officer at least 6 months prior to the chapter’s event.

If you have any questions, contact Megan Griffin, mgriffin@ala.org.
