Regina U. Minudri Young Adult Scholarship

The scholarship is to be given once a year to a Masters degree candidate in Library Science who intends to work professionally with young adults in public libraries. The purpose is to provide financial assistance and encouragement to developing young adult librarians. This scholarship honors the legacy of Regina U. Minudri, a Director of the Berkeley Public Library for 17 years before her retirement in 1994.

Candidates’ qualifications will include:

  • A demonstrated commitment in young adult librarianship.
  • Superior overall scholarship in a Masters Degree program in Library Science (minimum 3.0 GPA, transcript required).
  • Applicants must be currently enrolled in a Masters Degree program in Library Science with an anticipated a career in Young Adult librarianship.
  • Enrolled at minimum of six credit hours per fall and spring semester.
