If you are interested in registering for the Symposium, you must now email the registration form to registration@ala.org. Join us for a weekend full of YA education and networking.
The Renaissance Harborplace Hotel is currently sold out for the Symposium weekend - Nov. 4-6th. If you haven't made a reservation, please look at other hotels in close proximity and keep checking back with the Renaissance.

The 2022 Symposium theme is Rediscovering our Charm: Supporting Teens and Each other in our Libraries. Celebrate the wonderful community of librarians at an event that captures the collaboration, excitement and innovation of what we do best! We will explore new ways to uplift and support both ourselves and our teens through services and stories.

YALSA’s 2022 YA Services Symposium will be held Nov. 4-6th at the in Baltimore, MD. Join us for a great weekend of networking, sharing, and learning in the Charm City, Baltimore!
Economical Travel to Baltimore
- is only 15 minutes from downtown Baltimore. There is a light rail train located in the airport which goes directly downtown.
- goes into Pennsylvania Station. It is less than 2 miles from the Renaissance Harborplace Hotel.
- Car - Baltimore is less than 4 hours from New York City, two hours from Philadelphia and one hour from Washington DC.
