LIRT offers the perfect opportunity to get involved in library instruction issues at the national level. Lots of opportunities exist for committee volunteers. Becoming a LIRT member is a great way to meet others interested in instruction. Membership in the Library Instruction Round Table is open to any 91´«Ã½ member.
At Conferences You Can --
- Attend Bites with LIRT lunches at Midwinter and Annual Conferences;
- Participate in the Discussion Forums held at Midwinter Conferences;
- Attend the LIRT Annual Conference Program.

A round table is a membership unit established to promote a field of librarianship not within the scope of any single division. Although it cannot commit the Association by and declaration of policy, a round table may recommend policy and action to other units. Members of 91´«Ã½ may join those round tables for which they are eligible by payment of the specific dues. (91´«Ã½ Bylaws, Article VII).
