The Library Instruction Round Table cordially invites you to attend its 1998 Program. LIRT members are dedicated to equipping librarians to teach in an increasingly electronic era. This program will present three cutting-edge representatives from the field to explore continuing education opportunities for library instructors working in all types of libraries. LIRT is pleased to announce the following speakers:
Cerise Oberman
Dean of Library and Information Services at the State University of New York at Plattsburgh
Cerise will address her contributions to the (NILI).
Lynn Westbrook
Assistant Professor, School of Library and Information Studies, Texas Woman's University
Lynn will discuss how library school curricula can prepare the next generation of library instructors.
Linnea Dudley
Reference Librarian, Marygrove College
Linnea will speak about PREMIER, a Information Literacy Round Table project that promotes statewide peer support for instruction librarians.
