Kathy Rosa holds an EdD with an emphasis in instructional technology from the University of Houston. She holds a MSLS from the University of Kentucky and an MSE and BSE from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale. She recently served as a professor of library, information and media studies in the College of Education at Chicago State University. Kathy has now joined 91´«Ã½ as the .
Rosalind Tedford is the Director for Research and Instruction at the at Wake Forest University. She earned her BA in English and Psychology as well as her MA in English from Wake Forest and an MLIS from The University of North Carolina at Greensboro. In addition to managing the research and instruction programs at Wake Forest she teaches for-credit information literacy courses and is the liaison to both the Political Science and Communication departments. She has presented at LOEX, ACRL, 91´«Ã½ and regional conferences on issues ranging from copyright to technology trends to information literacy.
Robert Schroeder is a Reference librarian at Portland State University. He is the liaison to the Graduate School of Education and university’s General Education program and he coordinates the library’s General Education instruction program. He is also an adjunct instructor in Emporia State’s School of Librarian and Information Management where he teaches a Reference and User Services class to their Portland cohort. His areas of research include affect and library instruction, critical theory and critical pedagogy, and sustainable models of scholarly publishing.
Barbara Alvarez is the Librarian for Spanish and Portuguese Languages and Literatures at the University of Michigan. She works on collection development, provides reference and research consultation service, and teaches library research in the Humanities. She also serves as a departmental liaison and forms part of the library’s Usability Group. Barbara holds an M.A. in Hispanic literatures and an M.L.I.S. from the University of Alberta, Canada. Before joining the University of Michigan Library, she worked as a librarian at the University of Alberta (2000-2001) and at the University of Rochester (2001-2010). While at the University of Rochester, Barbara participated in the Studying Students project and was on the steering committee of the Library Instruction Leadership Academy (LILAC).
Jen Bonnet is the Librarian for French Language and Literature, French History, and Religious Studies at the University of Michigan Libraries, and serves as the liaison to the Department of Romance Languages and Literatures. In these roles, she engages in a wide range of departmental outreach, develops course-integrated library instruction sessions, and provides in-depth consultations for students and faculty at all stages of their research. In addition, she has taught library sessions in the Social Sciences, Health Sciences, and Humanities more generally, in addition to library funding workshops for both campus constituents and the local community. Jen holds an M.S.I. degree in Library and Information Services from the University of Michigan, and an M.A. in Counseling and Personnel Services from the University of Maryland.
Sigrid Anderson Cordell is the Librarian for History, American Literature, and American Culture at the University of Michigan. As departmental liaison, she conducts specialized instruction sessions and individual consultations for researchers at all levels. She has also taught in the Writing Program at Harvard University, as well as in the English Department at the University of Virginia. She holds a PhD in English Literature from the University of Virginia and was a Council on Library and Information Resources post-doctoral fellow at Princeton University Library.
