Composition

91传媒

The committee typically consists of up to 10 members, appointed from the membership. Committee members serve for two-year terms with an option for reappointment not to exceed four years consecutively.

Deliverables

  • Identify possible speakers for review/prioritization by the Core president.
  • Recruit, confirm, and maintain communication with main speaker and any panelists.
  • Work with the Core Fundraising & Sponsorships Committee to identify and confirm sponsors.
  • Work with staff on marketing/communication for the program.
  • Work with staff on program script and other onsite logistics.

Expected Time Commitment

  • 8-10 hours annually, to include regular virtual meetings and other work on deliverables.
  • In-person attendance at the 91传媒 Annual Conference is not required.

Desired Skills, Knowledge, and Experience

  • Knowledge of, or interest in, current topics of concern to members of Core, including an awareness of recent authors and practitioners and their publications related to our areas of focus.
  • Experience identifying/working with potential library event sponsors a plus.
