Deliverables and outcomes:

  • Annual planning for Core leadership development programs and activities
  • Recruitment and selection of mentoring program mentors/mentees; management and assessment of the annual mentoring program
  • Advise the Board and committees on leadership development trends and best practices
  • Evaluates applications to select each year's Core Emerging Leaders

Expected time commitment:

  • 4-6 virtual meetings per year
  • Review and respond to emails and 91传媒 Connect messages (2–3 hours/year)

Desired Skills, Knowledge, and Experience

  • Experience or interest in leadership development programs, including mentoring
  • Familiarity with leadership development needs of librarians and library staff
  • Understanding of leadership development trends and practices
