Deliverables
- Presentation of Interest Group Week sessions each March;
- Annual review of each Interest Group's deliverables;
- Annual review of the spectrum of topics covered by Interest Groups, with potential recommendations for changes;
- Annual review of one-third of Core's interest groups each year with recommendations to continue or dissolve the reviewed groups;
- Ensures each Interest Group has a chair;
- Ongoing communication with Interest Group leaders.
Expected Time Commitment
- Holds 6-8 virtual meetings each year;
- Generally up to one hour per month working/communicating with Interest Group leaders;
- January, February, and March are the busiest months for this group because Interest Group Week takes place the first full week of March each year;
- Increased workload to 2-3 hours per month in February and early March.
Desired Skills, Knowledge, and Experience
- Organizational skills;
- Experience or interest in continuing education and communication;
- Knowledge of Core and its work;
- Understanding how an interest group functions.
