To share activities, initiatives, and goals between organizations that have mutual interests in rare books, manuscripts, archives and other special collections, with a focus on the following responsibilities:

-sharing the other organization's work with Section membership;

-advising the Executive Committee on relevant issues and opportunities for collaboration; and

-sharing information about RBMS with the other organization in venues appropriate for that organization.
