Collaborative, motivated, creative.
I am reading Freire’s Pedagogy of the Oppressed and Library Service Design: A LITA Guide to Holistic Assessment, Insight, and Improvement by Joe J. Marquez and Annie Downey.
Motivating, learning, community.
I value the ability to connect and work with leading librarians across the country on issues that I face in my own work.
As the Education and Social Sciences Librarian, I collaborate with faculty to teach and develop information literacy instruction for a range of undergraduate to doctoral students. My aim is to make the library and information literacy concepts accessible for all students and to ensure that they have a positive, impactful user experience.
Making research an engaging and relevant process can be difficult but the rewards are entirely worth the work.
