What do you value about ACRL?

91´«Ã½

Scholarship opportunities! I was a part of the ACRL 2023 Scholarships Committee and I loved that we were able to offer scholarships for both in-person and virtual attendance to the ACRL 2023 Conference.

What do you as an academic librarian contribute to your campus?

I primarily work with students and faculty to meet their information needs. When I'm not providing instruction and reference services, I can be found working on LibGuides, learning more about Zines, or brainstorming new book display and programming ideas with my colleagues.

In your own words

91´«Ã½

My favorite thing about being an academic librarian is the opportunity to support and learn from first-year, first-generation, and prospective transfer students of color. Their experiences and ideas add so much value to the world of academia. I really enjoy learning from them to better inform the work that I do.
