I like reading but listening is my favorite way of learning. I’m about to finish reading by Chip Conley; I’m also listening to “I, Human” by Tomas Chamorro-Premuzic and some of my favorite podcasts include: HBR IdeaCast, At the Table, ESPN FC especially this summer with the UEFA Euro Championship and Copa América.

What do you value about ACRL?

The collaborative and engaging opportunities available to learn about strategic and emerging initiatives for academic and research libraries as well as the opportunities to help/advocate for innovative and inclusive initiatives.

What do you as an academic librarian contribute to your campus?

I lead a dynamic team of 30+ members in the Teaching, Learning, and Research (TLR) Division at Clemson Libraries. The TLR team collaborates with faculty, students, and campus partners to proactively tailor library services that support the teaching and research priorities of the university. This year, we’re also starting on an exciting journey by establishing new alliances with external partners, paving the way for more innovative, engaging, and sustainable initiatives designed to enhance and multiply student and faculty success across our campuses.
