I value ACRL's promotion of professional dialogue and its focus on helping library professionals produce new information. ACRL has supported me in growing as an academic librarian and has helped me make connections with peers. One of the things that I value most is that ACRL made the publication of my book "Academic Librarian Burnout: Causes and Responses," co-Editors Ana Guimaraes and Nashieli Marcano, possible. It has been amazing to receive support in producing research that challenges the drivers of burnout in our profession and also voices the lived experiences of academic librarians.

I lead my campus's library instruction program where I work with students to support their research projects and with faculty to develop information literacy-aligned learning materials. I also contribute to my campus through service on my department's Promotion Review Committee and our Faculty Council. In your own words: Being an academic librarian has given me so many opportunities to grow and learn. I get to participate in and support so many different research projects that I feel like I'm always exploring our world and the development of knowledge. I love knowing that each day I go to work I'll learn something new!
