"ASCLA is pleased to present the Exceptional Service Award to the Miami-Dade Public Library System in recognition of the "Connections: Library Service to the Homebound" program," stated Tom Sloan, ASCLA president. "This extraordinary library program provides a wide range of library services to people of all ages who are unable to visit the library in person.
