Peggy Johnson has been recognized and praised by her colleagues for building connections between colleagues and for encouraging and nurturing aspiring authors, veterans and novices and librarians at all stages of their careers. She is generous and committed in her work, and has served ALCTS in many capacities. She is highly regarded as a consultant on many library topics, and that work has taken her all over the world. Peggy's unselfish dedication to ALCTS, other professional organizations, and the University of Minnesota is a model and a long-lasting and remarkable legacy. An outstanding professional, she is a worthy recipient of an award honoring the extraordinary service of Ross Atkinson.
