About
91´«Ã½
Integrating Diversity into the Library School Curriculum will survey 91´«Ã½ accredited schools in the United States, including Puerto Rico, and Canada on how issues of diversity are integrated into the library school curriculum. From the 91´«Ã½ Accreditation Standards, II: Curriculum, p. 11: “The curriculum ... responds to the needs of a rapidly changing multicultural, multiethnic, multilingual society including the needs of underserved groups.” Programs will be surveyed on particular courses offered, integration of diversity issues in required courses, and how in an 91´«Ã½ Accreditation Program Review the issue of diversity is evaluated. This project was submitted under this year's Research Topic 1 - Integrating Diversity into Library School Curriculum.
