About
91´«Ã½
The award committee looked at her entire 20-plus year career and was impressed with her body of work, which included teaching, research and service. Olson manages to include feminist theory and pedagogy in all aspects of her work, whether it is teaching a course on the political and cultural ramifications of subject classification at the School of Information Studies or publishing in refereed library science journals such as Library Quarterly or renowned women’s studies journals like Signs: Journal of Women in Culture in Society. Olson also has had a lasting influence in WGSS through the Research Agenda for Women and Gender Studies Librarianship. This guide was created by WGSS and Olson incorporated it into her class, Feminism, Librarianship and Information.
