Katie Dunneback is the Consultant for Southeastern Library Services in Bettendorf , IA where she coordinates continuing education opportunities and serves as a resource on technology and adult services issues, among many other duties, for a 15-county region of southeast Iowa . Katie's passion is reader's advisory and has contributed the practitioner's point of view for a chapter to the recent 91´«Ã½ Editions release "Research-Based Readers' Advisory" edited by Jessica E. Moyer. She also served on the inaugural Reading List Council of RUSA to recognize excellence in adult genre fiction. She credits her experiences in NMRT as a committee member, committee chair, and eventually the Member Services Director for helping her develop into a young librarian who is comfortable in a leadership role.
