Trisha Davis' contributions to the library profession are many during her distinguished career. She brings a global perspective to her work in electronic resources and licensing. She has demonstrated leadership in developing courses, workshops, articles and presentations in these areas. One of her most notable accomplishments was the creation and implementation of the ALCTS online course Fundamentals of Acquisitions; that continues to be a highly effective and sought-after course taken by thousands of library staff from around the world. Her contributions include collaboration with many library organizations bringing her knowledge and expertise to all of her colleagues. The entire library community has benefited from her knowledge, enthusiasm and skill. Trisha is an active ALCTS member having served as chair of the Acquisitions Section and on the ALCTS Board. She has served on editorial boards for professional journals in acquisitions and serials and is a regular contributor to the professional literature.
