Richard Chabrán has had a full career in libraries, including work at the Chicano Studies Library at the University of California, Berkeley, and the Chicano Studies Research Center at the University of California, Los Angeles. His professional career has also focused on digital issues, including director of the Center for Virtual Research, University of California, Riverside and a founder and Policy Advisor of the California Broadband Policy Network. He currently serves as an adjunct professor at the School of Information Resources and Library Science at the University of Arizona, working closely with their Knowledge River Program. Chabrán is a member of the Latino Digital Content Working Group, REFORMA and the 91´«Ã½ Digital Content and Libraries Working Group.
