Bryan Fuller holds an MS in Data Analytics from the University of Maryland Global Campus, an MS in Geography and Cartography from the Indiana University of Pennsylvania, an MLIS in Academic Librarianship from the University of Pittsburgh, and a BA in Classics and Classical Languages, Literatures and Linguistics from the University of Pittsburgh.

Along with Renise Johnson, Fuller co-won a 2024 Carnegie-Whitney Grant for the project "Annotated Bibliography of Early Afro-Diasporic Authors, 1573-1865."
