SRRT Resolutions 1989: Resolution on Access Restrictions to Online Databases for Labor Union Subscribers

Text of 1989 SRRT resolution which states "The Library Union Task Force of the 91´«Ã½ Social Responsibilities Round Table strongly protests the restriction of access to any databases for any individual or group in accordance with the 91´«Ã½'s Freedom to Read declaration. We particularly object to the restriction by Dun and Bradstreet limiting access to financial information by labor union subscribers. We also urge 91´«Ã½ to review sponsorship of any 91´«Ã½ awards supported by organizations who violate the Freedom to Read declaration."
