United for Libraries to support free ‘Serving With a Purpose Virtual Fundraising Mini-Conference’

EXTON, Pennsylvania — United for Libraries will support the upcoming event ‘,’ scheduled to be held Wed, June 9, 2021 from 3:30 PM – 5:00 PM EDT. This virtual conference is free for all to attend. Registration closes on June 1st.
Attendees will hear from Southern California Friends and Foundations that have successfully developed and presented ways to fundraise during these uncertain times. Even as states begins to recover, these tried and true ideas can still be replicated. Registrants of the conference will also hear from New York Times and USA Today bestselling author Janet Skeslien Charles, who will talk about her newest book "The Paris Library."
The , made possible by a generous grant from the California Library Association, is a yearly gathering of Friends, Foundation and Trustees/Commissioners, volunteer library leaders and the staff that support them. Experts in areas of board development, fundraising, marketing, and leadership have contributed in providing opportunities of learning and engagement.
