LLAMA webinar explores time management for new managers

CHICAGO — If you are new to library management or managing staff, you might be surprised to discover that your old tried-and-true methods for managing your time aren’t working as well as you need them to. In that case, It may be time for a time management overhaul! The Library Leadership and Management Association (LLAMA) will present “Time Management for New Managers,” from 1:30 - 3 p.m. (Central time) on May 20.
Participants in this webinar will learn:
- how to apply basic time management techniques to their own schedules;
- about basic project management resources;
- new ways to effectively delegate tasks;
- how to recognize when to say no and learn tips on how to do so.
Presenter Samantha Schmehl Hines is head of Missoula College Mansfield Library at University of Montana, Missoula.
