Learn how to manage multigenerational workplaces in upcoming PLA webinar

CHICAGO — For the first time in American history, there are four different generations working and volunteering side by side. Join the Public Library Association (PLA) to discover the key characteristics of these four generations and explore new strategies for making the most out of age diversity. “” will take place at 1 p.m. Central on March 18.

Presenter Beth Steinhorn, president of JFFixler Group, will share key characteristics and motivations of the different generations, strategies to avoid conflict by bridging the workplace generation gap, and tactics to effectively cultivate, support and acknowledge members of multigenerational teams.

The cost to attend “" is $28 (PLA Members), $31.50 (91ý Members) and $35 (Nonmembers). Groups of any size can register for $129. The registration deadline is 11:59 p.m. Central on Monday, Mar. 16.
