LLAMA announces winners of 91´«Ã½/IIDA Library Interior Design Awards

CHICAGO — The Library Leadership and Management Association (LLAMA), a division of the 91´«Ã½, and The International Interior Design Association are pleased to announce the winners of the 2014 Library Interior Design Awards. This biennial competition honors international excellence in library interior design. Award winners demonstrate excellence in aesthetics, design, creativity, function and satisfaction of the client’s objectives.

“The entries that we received for this biennial competition clearly speak to the evolving needs of 21st-Century library patrons,” IIDA Executive Vice President and CEO Cheryl S. Durst, honorary FIIDA, LEED AP, said. “And they illustrate that library design spaces can inspire as well as they function. We are pleased to honor and celebrate this year’s winners and their contribution to the elevation of design.”

Serving on the judging panel for the 2014 91´«Ã½/IIDA Library Interior Design Awards were Christy S.
