LLAMA / YALSA webinar reveals how teen services increase library value and impact

CHICAGO — If you are looking for a way to add value to your public library, then expanding teen services may be the perfect solution. The Library Leadership & Management Association (LLAMA) and the Young Adult Library Services Association (YALSA) will present “Increase your library's value in the community by amping up teen services” from 1:30 - 3 p.m. Central time on Wednesday, June 12.

Presenter Mary Hastler is the director of Harford County Public Library in Belcamp, Md.

This webinar is geared towards public library administrators and directors.

Participants will learn:

  • how a teen space can add value to the library and increase patron satisfaction;
  • key data and research that you can use to make the case for teen services;
  • national guidelines from YALSA to use to evaluate your library's overall success in teen services;
  • funding sources available for teen-focused programs and services.
