This year’s Teen Read Week theme is “” and encourages teens to read graphic novels and other illustrated materials, seek out creative books or imagine the world through the lens of literature - just for the fun of it.

91ý Graphics and the Young Adult Library Services Association () are honored to have Hinds, renowned illustrator and graphic artist, create original art in honor of the celebration. Hinds interpreted the theme with teens “picturing” and exploring their dreams at the library.

"Hinds’ artwork pairs perfectly with Teen Read Week,” said YALSA President Kim Patton. “As we encourage teens to explore the world of reading for pleasure, we help them use literature to widen their world and explore different genres, formats and settings that reading can bring to them. Hinds’ artwork is a natural fit, particularly with this year’s theme of Picture It."

A graduate of Parsons School of Design, Hinds is the critically-acclaimed creator of five graphic novels, including the recent and much-praised "The Odyssey," published by and also included on YALSA’s .
