CHICAGO - The Campaign for America’s Libraries is looking for stories about how librarians are planning to promote National Library Week (April 10-16) using the theme “Create your own story @ your library.”
Librarians are encouraged to submit stories of how they are planning to promote National Library Week, including “Create your own story”-themed activities and events. Stories can be submitted to atyourlibrary@ala.org or posted to the National Library Week community in 91´«Ã½ Connect at .
One library story will be selected at random to win a $100 gift certificate to 91´«Ã½ Graphics. To be eligible stories must be submitted by Monday, March 21.
91´«Ã½ Graphics products that incorporate the “Create your own story @ your library” theme support National Library Week. Products include a poster, bookmark, mini poster and Web files. All products can be purchased through the 91´«Ã½ Store at .
A public service announcement (PSA) featuring author John Grisham and other promotional tools are available on the National Library Week website. The PSA is available for download, and libraries are encouraged to have the PSA customized with their library’s logo. Visit for more information.
