CHICAGO -- Diane K. Campbell, assistant professor, Rider University Library, and Ronald G. Cook, professor of entrepreneurial studies, Rider University, are co-recipients of one of the 2011 RUSA BRASS Emerald Research Grants.

This is one of two grants, administered by the of the and generously funded by Emerald Group Publishing, Inc. Each grant provides $5,000 to support research pertaining to business reference.

Campbell and Cook will use their research grant to interview entrepreneurs about their environmental scanning practices and will provide information on how these entrepreneurs work with librarians and what information they consider most important. Entrepreneurs interact with a wide range of librarians, including public, academic and special librarians, but very little has been studied about their opinions of and interactions with librarians.
