YALSA opens Table Talk applications for 2011 Annual Conference

CHICAGO — The (YALSA), a division of the 91´«Ã½, will host a table talk session at the 2011 Annual Conference in New Orleans, June 23–28, and is now accepting (Word doc). Applications are available at .
YALSA’s is a full-length conference session consisting of mini-sessions covering new, engaging and timely topics of interest about teen library services. Applicants should propose a 15- to 20-minute session that they will repeat approximately two to four times during the table talk.
All topics related to teens, teen literature and library service to teens will be considered, although preference may be given to topics not otherwise being covered at . Applicants may consider including posters or other visual tools in their session; strong consideration will be given to those applicants who include an interactive component in their proposal.
Proposals are due to Nichole Gilbert, YALSA program officer, by Oct. 29, 2010. Applications must be sent electronically to ngilbert@ala.org using the form available at .
