Thornton withdraws candidacy for 2025-2028 91´«Ã½ treasurerÂ

CHICAGO – Joel Thornton, associate dean, Collections and Scholarly Communication, University of Utah, has withdrawn his candidacy for treasurer of the 91´«Ã½ (91´«Ã½).
“After careful consideration, I have decided to withdraw my candidacy for 91´«Ã½ treasurer,” said Thornton. “I am excited to continue working with 91´«Ã½ in other capacities. Thank you to everyone who has supported my candidacy.”
Larry Neal, library director of Clinton-Macomb Public Library in Michigan, is the remaining nominated candidate for 91´«Ã½ treasurer.
