91´«Ã½ announces the appointment of Donna Seaman as Booklist Editor-In-Chief

CHICAGO – Booklist, the official book review journal published by the 91´«Ã½, announces the appointment of Donna Seaman as Editor-In-Chief and Editor, Adult Books.
Donna Seaman joined Booklist as an associate editor for the adult books section and has since been promoted to senior editor and adult books editor. In addition to helping with numerous operational and editorial developments over the years, including the Carnegie Medals, Donna has moderated numerous author panels at 91´«Ã½ conferences and conducted author interviews and hosted literary events for other organizations, including the Chicago Public Library, the Chicago Humanities Festival, Printers Row Lit Fest, and Women & Children First. Donna is a member of the Content Leadership Team for the American Writers Museum, an adjunct professor for Northwestern University’s Graduate Creative Writing Program, School of Professional Studies, and a recipient of the Louis Shores Award for Excellence in Book Reviewing, the James Friend Memorial Award for Literary Criticism, and the Studs Terkel Humanities Service Award.
In this new, transformative role, Donna will lead Booklist’s content and editorial teams in Booklist’s Adult, Audio, and Youth sections.
