Core Webinar: Logic Models; Your Strategic Magic Wand
91´«Ã½
CHICAGO—Join Core for the webinar "Logic Models: Your Strategic Magic Wand" on April 16, 2024, at 1 p.m. CT. Funders are very interested in seeing a program logic model in grant proposals, and program evaluators use logic models to guide their work. Even funders who do not ask for them are delighted to see a logic model! A logic model is a graphic depiction of the relationship among the resources, activities, outputs, and outcomes of your program. It shows the relationship between your program’s activities and its intended effects in an implicit “if-then” relationship. However, logic models are often missing or are unclear in proposals. Moreover, a program logic model makes a program’s activities and anticipated outcomes transparent to everyone involved with its library or library system (e.g., board members, development team, evaluators, staff, community partners, funders, and others). In this introductory session, participants will learn the fundamentals of logic models and think about how to refine or develop logic models (starting with a theory of change) so that they can be confidently added to proposals that stand out from the crowd as well as offer clear direction for program evaluation.
