CHICAGO - The Association of College and Research Libraries (ACRL) invites proposal submissions for the ACRL 2013 Conference to be held April 10 -13, 2013, in Indianapolis. Contributed paper, panel session, preconference and workshop proposals are due May 11, 2012. Cyber Zed Shed presentation, poster session, roundtable discussion and Virtual Conference Webcast proposals are due Nov. 9, 2012. Submit proposals via the online form at .

“ACRL 2013 will be a fabulous opportunity for academic and research librarians,” said ACRL 2013 Conference Chair Erika Linke of Carnegie Mellon University. “Share your stimulating, challenging and inspiring research and innovations with your peers through our wide variety of session formats. If the past is a predictor of the future, your participation will help ACRL 2013 continue to be the premier professional development opportunity for the academic and research library community.”

ACRL challenges you to imagine, innovate and inspire your colleagues with proposals that explore the most dynamic and challenging issues and ideas facing academic and research librarians today. Tag proposals with three of the list of 40 keywords available in the call for participation. The tagging system will emphasize connections among the conference content and help all participants identify and sort through the wide variety of dynamic interactions and exchanges that define ACRL conferences.
