Descriptions of 2011 "Cutting-edge Services" released by OITP’s America’s Libraries for the 21st Century Subcommittee

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The 91´«Ã½ Office for Information Technology Policy and its Program on America’s Libraries for the 21st Century (AL21C) Subcommittee have released (PDF).

“The summaries are available online in order to share successful models for delivering quality library service in new ways,” AL21C Associate Director Larra Clark said.

Clark said the subcommittee urges those attending the 91´«Ã½ Annual Conference in New Orleans to attend “The Future of Libraries: Cutting-edge Services” to be held from 10:30 a.m. to noon on Saturday, June 25, in MCC-Room 391. The program will feature presentations from the four libraries .



The program will be moderated by AL21C Chair Christine Lind Hage. Presenters will include Buffy Hamilton, Creekview High School, Media 21; Kristin Antelman, North Carolina State University Library, Web Design Project; John Davidson, OhioLINK, Digital Resource Commons; Mary Anne Hodel, Orange County Library System, OCLS Shake It! Mobile App.
