91´«Ã½

CHICAGO—Core: Leadership, Infrastructure, Futures is pleased to announce that Rachel Wells has been chosen as a Core Emerging Leader (EL). Wells works as the Reference Librarian at the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum in Cooperstown, New York where she is responsible for answering reference questions related to all facets of baseball. She also works on collection development.

"I am humbled to be selected for the 91´«Ã½ Emerging Leaders Class of 2023," Wells said. "I'm ecstatic to work other members and to see what we can accomplish for 91´«Ã½!"

One of 49 library workers chosen from across the U.S. and Canada, Wells will participate in project planning work groups, network with peers, gain an inside look into the 91´«Ã½ structure, and have an opportunity to serve the profession in a leadership capacity. Following a virtual, day-long kickoff session during the 91´«Ã½ LibLearnX: The Library Learning Experience (LibLearnX), the program will continue in an online learning and networking environment for six months, culminating in a presentation of the groups' work at the 2023 91´«Ã½ Annual Conference in Chicago, IL. this June. Core is sponsoring three Emerging Leaders for 2023. Learn more about the 91´«Ã½ Emerging Leaders Program.
