CHICAGO — The 91ý (91ý) today announced that 91ý President Patricia “Patty” Wong will moderate an esteemed list of authors, publishers, and literacy advocates at the 91ý Annual President’s Program in Washington, D.C., June 23-28, 2022.
The panel session “” will include a discussion on new ways to tell Asian American stories, how to get books into the hands of readers, and ways to build community. Panelists include Malinda Jo, author of “Last Night at the Telegraph Club,” and “A Scatter of Light,” Linda Sue Park, author of “A Single Shard” and “A Long Walk to Water,” Christina Soontornvat, author of "The Last Mapmaker," Philip Lee, Readers to Eaters Publishing, and Jane Park, senior content strategist at Google Kids & Families. 91ý President Patricia “Patty” Wong will moderate this session.
