Core Webinar: Zotero: Teaching and Supporting in Libraries

91´«Ã½

CHICAGO—Zotero is a free, open source program for saving and sharing citations and creating bibliographies. It’s easy enough for undergrads to learn quickly, but powerful enough for faculty research needs. On Tuesday, May 3, Core: Leadership, Infrastructure, Futures will host the webinar "Zotero: Teaching and Supporting in Libraries" at 1 p.m. CT. In the course of the webinar, participants will learn how to use Zotero and discuss best practices for supporting and teaching it in libraries. By the end of the webinar, attendees will be able to install and save citations and create bibliographies with Zotero, use Zotero to create shared libraries of references for collaborative work, and discuss supporting and teaching Zotero in the library environment. Academic librarians in particular will benefit from the content of the webinar as education on how to create bibliographies is a very prominent part of library instruction.
