CHICAGO—On Friday, June 24, from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, Core: Leadership, Infrastructure, Futures will present the preconference "Assembling Your Consultant Tool Kit: What you Need to Know to Become a Successful Consultant" during the 2022 91´«Ã½ Annual Conference & Exhibition in Washington, DC. Discover how to build a successful library consulting business by exploring topics on the required personal attributes, establishing the business, areas of consulting, the importance of understanding a client’s motivation, dealing with project scope creep and the methodologies typically employed in consulting work during this full-day preconference. In addition, this workshop will cover contract deliverables, including incorporating client feedback and presenting results. Interactive activities are included in each part of this preconference, providing plenty of opportunities for discussion.
