Learn the difference between a good and bad design and the theory and principles that drive the creation of good design. Employ practical skills in creating designs for your library with an introduction to various tools and applications. Learn how to market your library by identifying your audience and how to best engage with them and create a message that identifies your library as a staple in your community.
This webinar is ideal for librarians and library staff involved in creating services and programs, promoting programs, and those involved in promoting their library through social media, the web, virtual and in-person persons. This webinar is also for those interested or charged with creating materials and content in promotion of the library, but do not have a design or marketing background or is just starting out. The presenter, Jennifer Blair, is the Head of User Services Librarian and Assistant Professor at Azusa Pacific University. Her role is dedicated to the user experience, including marketing the library and teaching. Her experience in academic and public libraries as well as work experience in art and design allow her to employ visionary strategies to enrich progress and enhance advancement for students.
