91´«Ã½

CHICAGO — The 91´«Ã½ (91´«Ã½) is offering its members new benefits that will aid in their professional development and help their libraries move forward.

They consist of two benefits each for organizational members and personal members.

For organizational members, 91´«Ã½ is offering 91´«Ã½ Essentials, a series of training courses they can share with their entire staff. It focuses on some of the key pillars of librarianship – creating a welcoming environment, customer service, Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI), and intellectual freedom.

Professional development is an important aspect of 91´«Ã½ organizational membership, and 91´«Ã½ is pleased to offer access to this series of pre-recorded trainings, at a value of $160 per user, that will leverage the unique expertise within 91´«Ã½ and beyond.

The other organizational benefit is a 15% discount on the Cataloging with RDA Toolkit, a subscription-based online platform that allows catalogers to access RDA’s data elements, guidelines, and instructions for creating their metadata. It is currently in use in more than 60 countries across six continents.

This exclusive 15% discount on all first-year subscriptions is available to organizational members who request it by e-mailing rdatoolkit@ala.org with the code 91´«Ã½RDA2021 and their 91´«Ã½ organizational member number. This offer is valid from now through August 2021.

For personal members, 91´«Ã½ offers two exciting new benefits.
