91´«Ã½ awards additional 21 Library Census Equity Fund grantees

WASHINGTON — The 91´«Ã½ (91´«Ã½) and the announced that 21 additional libraries will receive of $2,000 to bolster their service to hard-to-count communities and help achieve a complete count in the 2020 Census. 

In December 2019, 91´«Ã½ Library Census Equity Fund mini-grants, based on available funding at the time. More than 500 libraries of all types had submitted applications for the mini-grants. With support from the LOR Foundation, 91´«Ã½ is now awarding 21 additional mini-grants to libraries in rural communities of the Mountain West served by the LOR Foundation.

Recipients were chosen by members of the selection committee established by 91´«Ã½’s : Tom Adamich, Patricia Ball, Heather Cousin, Susan Hildreth, and Cecilia Tovar.
