Rebecca Denham named 2020 YALSA Board Fellow

CHICAGO — The Young Adult Library Services Association (YALSA) has named Rebecca Denham, Teen Services Coordinator at the Houston (Texas) Public Library, its .
“I am honored and excited to be part of the YALSA Board Fellow Program and can't wait to get started,” said Denham. “I hope to learn more about the inner workings and motivation of YALSA as an organization and to see where I can contribute to YALSA's mission and leadership moving forward.”
Denham will serve a one-year term starting in June as a non-voting member on the YALSA Board. As a Board Fellow, she will participate fully in the year-round work of the Board by attending and participating in all face-to-face and virtual meetings and discussions. This includes attending 91´«Ã½’s 2021 Annual Conference and 2021 Midwinter Meeting. To defray travel costs to the conferences, Denham will receive a $500 stipend for each conference.
The YALSA gives YALSA members an expanded opportunity to be involved in the leadership of the association.
