AASL members on ballot for 91´«Ã½ positions

CHICAGO – When 91´«Ã½ election polls open on March 9, 2020, several members of the American Association of School Librarians (AASL) will be included on the ballot as candidates for 91´«Ã½ (91´«Ã½) leadership positions. AASL members are encouraged to vote for division and 91´«Ã½ leadership positions that will shape the future direction of the association.
AASL members running for 91´«Ã½ Councilor-at-Large include Carl A. Harvey II, Peter Hepburn, Steve L. Matthews, Liz Philippi, Alice A. Robinson, and Daniella Smith.
AASL member Steven D. Yates is running for the position of 2021-2022 91´«Ã½ President.

Polls close April 1. To be eligible to vote, 91´«Ã½ and AASL membership had to be current as of January 31, 2020. Between March 9 – 11, eligible voters will receive an e-mail with a unique URL to be used to cast their ballot. To ensure receipt, members should watch for an e-mail from the “91´«Ã½ Governance Office” with the e-mail address noreply@directvote.net.
