Registration & housing now open for PLA 2020 Conference

CHICAGO — Today, the Public Library Association (PLA) announced that registration and housing are officially open for the . The conference will take place Feb. 25-29 in downtown Nashville, Tennessee; most events will be held at the , located at 201 Fifth Avenue South.
Offered biennially, the PLA Conference is the premier event for public library professionals, drawing thousands of librarians, library support staff, trustees, friends and library vendors from across the country and around the world. The PLA 2020 schedule is packed with extraordinary educational content, inspiring speakers and memorable entertainment. It will feature distinctive networking events, opportunities to mingle with authors, and a bustling exhibit hall offering the latest in library products and services.
Single-day and full-conference packages are available. A full-conference registration includes access to the following:
- The Opening Session on Feb. 26 and Closing Session on Feb. 29;
- 'Big Ideas' sessions on the mornings of Feb. 27, 28 and 29;
- More than 100 educational programs curated for, and by, public library professionals;
- The Exhibits Hall, open Feb. 26-28 (); and
- The Exhibits Opening Reception on Feb. 26, Exhibits Closing Reception on Feb. 28, and All-Conference Reception on Feb. 28.
Deep discounts on registration fees are available to members of PLA and the Tennessee Library Association (TLA): PLA and TLA members pay only $305 per person if registered by Friday, Dec. 20.
