LLAMA Webinar helps you manage your projects

91´«Ã½

In the rush to get started on a project, especially if it is complicated or time consuming, many project planners neglect the most important step. Careful pre-planning is the secret that will help your project go smoothly and end successfully. By creating a cohesive plan before project work begins, you can effectively manage the various aspects of your projects. The Library Leadership and Management Association (LLAMA) will present “Project Management for Success,” on Wednesday, August 7, at 1:30-3:00 pm Central Time. This webinar will guide students through the planning process and provide information on additional resources and helpful tools.

Participants will learn:

The parts of a project plan and their importance to the success of the project.

The important relationships of scope, budget and schedule.

How to create a workflow that includes staff and resources.

The importance of change management in a successful project

How a communication plan can manage stakeholder expectations and relationships.

How to scale project plans to fit the project.

This webinar addresses several of LLAMA's including: project planning/scheduling; team building; communication skills; and problem solving.
