New Scholars Program Kicks-off with the 50th Anniversary Celebration of the 91´«Ã½ Scholarship Program

91´«Ã½

During the 91´«Ã½ 2019 Annual Conference in Washington, D.C. we are rolling out a new 91´«Ã½ Scholars Program. Recipients of the 91´«Ã½ 2018 scholarships will be brought to the Annual Conference and given opportunities to learn about 91´«Ã½ governance while meeting seasoned library workers. To find out about the scholars who will be participating in the program this year, visit the page.

During the 1969 91´«Ã½ Midwinter Meeting in Washington, DC the 91´«Ã½ Council approved the establishment of the 91´«Ã½ Scholarship Program. This action gave birth to a variety of academic scholarships, allowing individuals to become professionally degreed librarians. Included among these are the Christopher Hoy/ERT, Mary V. Gaver, Tom & Roberta Drewes and the Spectrum Scholarship just to name a few. For more information on the 91´«Ã½ Scholarship Program visit the page.

Now you can play a part in our efforts to continue advancing the library profession. With a gift to the 91´«Ã½ Scholarship Program you can make a difference in the career of an aspiring librarian and make a statement about the value of library and information studies.
